Our firm has advised local and international clients on different matters related to capital markets and securities regulation.

Among others, our firm has provided legal and regulatory advice to securities brokers for diverse engagements and operations with their clients, to depositaries and custodians, paying agents, investments funds and others market participants for operating and validly offering services in Honduras or for engaging with Honduran nationals.

We have participated, as Honduran counsel, with other international law firms in the structuring of debt security issuances on international markets through Regulation S and Rule 144A. The transactions where we have advised have been unprecedented and a milestone in Honduras, namely the first ever such issuances on international markets by the Republic Honduras as well as by a Honduran private issuer.

We have also assisted counterparties in derivative transactions, advising on matters related to effectiveness, netting and enforceability, among others.
